s'more please...

We had a little fire in our backyard one night this week and introduced Laeney to S'mores...let's just say, she was a big fan and definitely wanted "s'more".

This is after at least 3 s'mores...do you think the sugar got to her? :)

ladybug girl

I went to a baby shower this past weekend for my dear friend, Anna, who is having a baby girl in late June. Anna makes up the best songs....one of which is titled...Live Ladybugs... it is a classic!
Her baby girl is going to love all of her made up songs, just like we do. In honor of Anna's Ladybug song, I found this adorable book and had to make a homemade onesie with the words from Anna's "song"! :)

Here are a couple other homemade gifts for the mom to be and baby girl....

The Anna Bag

Ladybug onesie and bubsy onesie
(bubsy is the nickname that Anna & her husband so dottily use for one another
...so we hear...or at least tease her for!)

going green.

The Jamie Bag
Jamie requested a bag with light and dark green
...so when I found this fabric, I fell in love.

I go to get it cut and they tell me that this pattern is being discontinued (so wrong, I know!)...so I buy a few yards, not knowing what I will do with it. That is until my dear husband gave me a fantastic mother's day gift...a class to learn how to sew a skirt. The remaining 2 yards are going to that...more to come when the skirt is complete!

The Melissa Bag with new ties....

The bag can still be reversible and the tie will work with both sides.

messy girl.

Laeney has outgrown most of her baby bibs, thus it was time to craft some new big girl bibs....

Laeney found these "pillows" at Uncle Coco's house and thought she would take a rest....on the kitchen floor.
