A few weeks ago, the cottage cheese and peanut butter stains from Lula finally motivated me to recover our kitchen chairs! I used a black & white retro fabric and then a layer of thin plastic over that, so they can easily be washed off! I am so happy with them so far! 

The tomato soup spill tonight washed right up...beautiful!

Curtains on a budget...

We have been (slowly) getting Laeney's big girl room ready 

and curtains were on the agenda this week! 

Thanks to Target and their clearance "back to college" selection, I was able to find this fabric shower curtain for $2.54, which I transformed into curtains! 

Blinds are next...if only I could find those for $3!
