triple rock.

Three shirts for three little girls....who rock!

Biggest Sister, Big Sister and Little Sister!

music and space.

I can't take the credit for these cute sayings...a client came up
with the below for two separate pregnant friends of hers...

For a baby
whose Mom is a choir teacher...

And a couple others for a mom who is a fan of the office
and an inside joke with Space Balls!

Boston baby.

Some onesies for a special little boy in Boston!

Love this idea that a client came up with..
a onesie that the mom can write the baby's info
on every month (with a washable marker) and then take
pictures of her growing little boy in the onesie, so she can
see and document how he grows and changes throughout the months!!

The front has sports Icons
and
the back has his last name!

Love this...

 C'mon...what parent doesn't think that
their kid is the cutest kid?

Some inside joke in Boston...
this Minnesotan doesn't really get it...ha!

Triplets!

A client ordered three onesies for her friend who is having triplets!

She came up with the idea to design the onesies with
the rally cry from their alma mater, St. Olaf...."UM YA YA"!

Love it...so fun!

Dirty Jersey

A customer ordered the below onesies
for her soon-to-be nephew!
Love the ideas they came up with and
I had so much fun designing these.

The Mom-to-be is from Jersey, so of course
Dirty Jersey on the butt is quite fitting..

NJ Baby on the Front and Dirty Jersey on the Butt.
I made the Dirty Jersey graphic look like the Jersey Shore Logo...ha!

Could you guess that these onesies are from the lil' boy's Aunts?
My Aunts Rock! (And I guess my uncles do too)

Don't be Jealous...I know I am the cutest.

Baby Tierney (on the front)
But I wish my name was Kaveney (on the back)

stylin baby girl.

I had so much fun working with Emy
on these oneies for her new niece...

The 5th.

My college buddy and his wife came up with these hilarious ideas
for onesies all on their own. It was so great to work with him
and I seriously had so much fun designing these having baby Joey in mind!

Baby Boy G. will be the 5th Joseph...

Yep, Joey's Dad came up with this one all by himself...
just a little self acknowledgement.

Joe thought this was hilarious...as do I.
Sorry Tom and Stace!

There's some double meaning on this one...
perfect attire for those fall football games!

Go Gophers!

4.21.2010

dirty baby.

Some onesies for Baby W...

Adam helped me come up with the concepts,
as he not only works with the baby-to-be's Mom,
but he went to college with the Dad
and actually set the two up...

Apparently, someone had suggested this name at work to Naomi.
(spelling backwards will help make sense of it all!)

A little egotistical onesie,
thanking Adam for "making this happen"!

Naomi received the nickname, Ping-Pong for bouncing
back and forth between Class and work!

Call of Doody.

Some onesies for Baby Boy K...

Baby Boy's dad works for Activision, which makes the video game Call of Duty,
but soon he will be answering to a different kind of doody...

Stylist, Make-up Artist, Athlete, Crafter,
and hairdresser are just a few of Mom's talents.

And an ongoing joke with me and Em,
that we always need a new garment..."for the Holidays".

Now, Baby Boy K is all set "for the Holidays"!

Excited New Mama...

A friend from college recently contacted me
to create a few onesies for her!

She is newly pregnant and came up with a brilliant idea
of sharing her exciting news with her family!

Her creative plan, and I followed willingly, was to create a onesie that was meaningful to her mom, step-dad, brother and father-in-law...then have them open the wrapped box with the onesie inside and "realize" her big news from the little onesie!

An Office Baby.

A few new onesies for a mama that is a lover of both the Office
and Iowa State where her and her Hubby graduated from.
JK ordered these onesies for her friend and
suggested the ideas behind the designs.

I sort of love the Office Onesie...mainly because I think the irony
of a baby wearing a Dunder Mifflin onesie is hilarious.

I found the authentic Office logo and typeface used online,
and then re-created it to say Future Recruit instead of Paper Company. Fun!

inside jokes.

An old co-worker from Target asked me to design some onesies for her friend.
I wasn't really sure what a couple of the "sayings" meant, so she gave me some insight that the Optimator is a high-proof beer and
that Chicken Cordon Bleu Fingers is a favorite with the couple?!
Still not totally sure I know the whole story of the inside jokes,
but I bet they are funny to Baby Fait's parents! ;)

I get this one...:)!

A few weeks ago, we celebrated Jen and her baby boy who will be born in December!
She had specific requests for her shower gifts...a bag, a hooter hider and a onesie that says, "I love boobs like my dad"! Classic Baby Laene gifts!

Here is some of the homemade love for my dear friend Jen (and baby boy)!

The DJ bag

and coordinating hooter hider!

Jen Modeling her hooter hider!
Jen's favorite show growing up (and secretly still) is Full House!

Her nickname by her family is Bugs

Mike plays softball...get it!

enough said!

My favorite onesie to date, as it hold a dear memory for me.
Poor Jen..we will never let you live that down, will we!

Baby (DJ)'s new onesies!
